ScrapMax helps you identify scrap, track scrap-yard prices, estimate loads, and record sales in one place.

  1. Add your recycling yards

    Save the recycling centers you use so their price sheets and pricing stay organized.

  2. Scan a price sheet

    Take a picture of a yard’s printed price sheet or price board. ScrapMax reads the prices, then lets you review and correct them before saving.

  3. Identify and add your materials

    Use the material guides when you are unsure what something is. Add the materials in your load along with their weight or quantity.

  4. Estimate your load

    ScrapMax uses the saved yard prices and the weights or quantities you enter to give you a clear estimated value for the load.

  5. Record the sale

    After you visit the yard, save the sale or scan the receipt. This keeps a history of what you were paid and helps you compare prices over time.
